Heal The Kids - Oxford Speech

Heal The Kids - Oxford Speech

Oxford University, March 2001 by Michael Jackson

Thank you, thank you dear friends, from the bottom of my heart, for such a loving and spirited welcome, and thank you, Mr President, for your kind invitation to me which I am so honoured to accept. I also want to express a special thanks to you Shmuley, who for 11 years served as Rabbi here at Oxford. You and I have been working so hard to form Heal the Kids, as well as writing our book about childlike qualities, and in all of our efforts you have been such a supportive and loving friend. And I would also like to thank Toba Friedman, our director of operations at Heal the Kids, who is returning tonight to the alma mater where she served as a Marshall scholar, as well as Marilyn Piels, another central member of our Heal the Kids team.

I am humbled to be lecturing in a place that has previously been filled by such notable figures as Mother Theresa, Albert Einstein, Ronald Reagan, Robert Kennedy and Malcolm X. I've even heard that Kermit the Frog has made an appearance here, and I've always felt a kinship with Kermit's message that it's not easy being green. I'm sure he didn't find it any easier being up here than I do!

As I looked around Oxford today, I couldn't help but be aware of the majesty and grandeur of this great institution, not to mention the brilliance of the great and gifted minds that have roamed these streets for centuries. The walls of Oxford have not only housed the greatest philosophical and scientific geniuses - they have also ushered forth some of the most cherished creators of children's literature, from J.R.R. Tolkien to CS Lewis. Today I was allowed to hobble into the dining hall in Christ Church to see Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland immortalised in the stained glass windows. And even one of my own fellow Americans, the beloved Dr Seuss graced these halls and then went on to leave his mark on the imaginations of millions of children throughout the world.

I suppose I should start by listing my qualifications to speak before you this evening. Friends, I do not claim to have the academic expertise of other speakers who have addressed this hall, just as they could lay little claim at being adept at the moonwalk - and you know, Einstein in particular was really TERRIBLE at that.

But I do have a claim to having experienced more places and cultures than most people will ever see. Human knowledge consists not only of libraries of parchment and ink - it is also comprised of the volumes of knowledge that are written on the human heart, chiselled on the human soul, and engraved on the human psyche. And friends, I have encountered so much in this relatively short life of mine that I still cannot believe I am only 42. I often tell Shmuley that in soul years I'm sure that I'm at least 80 - and tonight I even walk like I'm 80! So please harken to my message, because what I have to tell you tonight can bring healing to humanity and healing to our planet.

Through the grace of God, I have been fortunate to have achieved many of my artistic and professional aspirations realised early in my lifetime. But these, friends are accomplishments, and accomplishments alone are not synonymous with who I am. Indeed, the cheery five-year-old who belted out Rockin' Robin and Ben to adoring crowds was not indicative of the boy behind the smile.

Tonight, I come before you less as an icon of pop (whatever that means anyway), and more as an icon of a generation, a generation that no longer knows what it means to be children.

All of us are products of our childhood. But I am the product of a lack of a childhood, an absence of that precious and wondrous age when we frolic playfully without a care in the world, basking in the adoration of parents and relatives, where our biggest concern is studying for that big spelling test come Monday morning.

Those of you who are familiar with the Jackson Five know that I began performing at the tender age of five and that ever since then, I haven't stopped dancing or singing. But while performing and making music undoubtedly remain as some of my greatest joys, when I was young I wanted more than anything else to be a typical little boy. I wanted to build tree houses, have water balloon fights, and play hide and seek with my friends. But fate had it otherwise and all I could do was envy the laughter and playtime that seemed to be going on all around me.

There was no respite from my professional life. But on Sundays I would go Pioneering, the term used for the missionary work that Jehovah's Witnesses do. And it was then that I was able to see the magic of other people's childhood.

Since I was already a celebrity, I would have to don a disguise of fat suit, wig, beard and glasses and we would spend the day in the suburbs of Southern California, going door-to-door or making the rounds of shopping malls, distributing our Watchtower magazine. I loved to set foot in all those regular suburban houses and catch sight of the shag rugs and La-Z-Boy armchairs with kids playing Monopoly and grandmas baby-sitting and all those wonderful, ordinary and starry scenes of everyday life. Many, I know, would argue that these things seem like no big deal. But to me they were mesmerising.

I used to think that I was unique in feeling that I was without a childhood. I believed that indeed there were only a handful with whom I could share those feelings. When I recently met with Shirley Temple Black, the great child star of the 1930s and 40s, we said nothing to each other at first, we simply cried together, for she could share a pain with me that only others like my close friends Elizabeth Taylor and McCauley Culkin know.

I do not tell you this to gain your sympathy but to impress upon you my first important point : It is not just Hollywood child stars that have suffered from a non-existent childhood. Today, it's a universal calamity, a global catastrophe. Childhood has become the great casualty of modern-day living. All around us we are producing scores of kids who have not had the joy, who have not been accorded the right, who have not been allowed the freedom, or knowing what it's like to be a kid.

Today children are constantly encouraged to grow up faster, as if this period known as childhood is a burdensome stage, to be endured and ushered through, as swiftly as possible. And on that subject, I am certainly one of the world's greatest experts.

Ours is a generation that has witnessed the abrogation of the parent-child covenant. Psychologists are publishing libraries of books detailing the destructive effects of denying one's children the unconditional love that is so necessary to the healthy development of their minds and character. And because of all the neglect, too many of our kids have, essentially, to raise themselves. They are growing more distant from their parents, grandparents and other family members, as all around us the indestructible bond that once glued together the generations, unravels.

This violation has bred a new generation, Generation O let us call it, that has now picked up the torch from Generation X. The O stands for a generation that has everything on the outside - wealth, success, fancy clothing and fancy cars, but an aching emptiness on the inside. That cavity in our chests, that barrenness at our core, that void in our centre is the place where the heart once beat and which love once occupied.

And it's not just the kids who are suffering. It's the parents as well. For the more we cultivate little-adults in kids'-bodies, the more removed we ourselves become from our own child-like qualities, and there is so much about being a child that is worth retaining in adult life.

Love, ladies and gentlemen, is the human family's most precious legacy, its richest bequest, its golden inheritance. And it is a treasure that is handed down from one generation to another. Previous ages may not have had the wealth we enjoy. Their houses may have lacked electricity, and they squeezed their many kids into small homes without central heating. But those homes had no darkness, nor were they cold. They were lit bright with the glow of love and they were warmed snugly by the very heat of the human heart. Parents, undistracted by the lust for luxury and status, accorded their children primacy in their lives.

As you all know, our two countries broke from each other over what Thomas Jefferson referred to as "certain inalienable rights". And while we Americans and British might dispute the justice of his claims, what has never been in dispute is that children have certain inalienable rights, and the gradual erosion of those rights has led to scores of children worldwide being denied the joys and security of childhood.

I would therefore like to propose tonight that we install in every home a Children's Universal Bill of Rights, the tenets of which are:

1. The right to be loved without having to earn it

2. The right to be protected, without having to deserve it

3. The right to feel valuable, even if you came into the world with nothing

4. The right to be listened to without having to be interesting

5. The right to be read a bedtime story, without having to compete with the evening news

6. The right to an education without having to dodge bullets at schools

7. The right to be thought of as adorable - (even if you have a face that only a mother could love).

Friends, the foundation of all human knowledge, the beginning of human consciousness, must be that each and every one of us is an object of love. Before you know if you have red hair or brown, before you know if you are black or white, before you know of what religion you are a part, you have to know that you are loved.

About twelve years ago, when I was just about to start my Bad tour, a little boy came with his parents to visit me at home in California. He was dying of cancer and he told me how much he loved my music and me. His parents told me that he wasn't going to live, that any day he could just go, and I said to him: "Look, I am going to be coming to your town in Kansas to open my tour in three months. I want you to come to the show. I am going to give you this jacket that I wore in one of my videos." His eyes lit up and he said: "You are gonna GIVE it to me?" I said "Yeah, but you have to promise that you will wear it to the show." I was trying to make him hold on. I said: "When you come to the show I want to see you in this jacket and in this glove" and I gave him one of my rhinestone gloves - and I never usually give the rhinestone gloves away. And he was just in heaven.

But maybe he was too close to heaven, because when I came to his town, he had already died, and they had buried him in the glove and jacket. He was just 10 years old. God knows, I know, that he tried his best to hold on. But at least when he died, he knew that he was loved, not only by his parents, but even by me, a near stranger, I also loved him. And with all of that love he knew that he didn't come into this world alone, and he certainly didn't leave it alone.

If you enter this world knowing you are loved and you leave this world knowing the same, then everything that happens in between can he dealt with. A professor may degrade you, but you will not feel degraded, a boss may crush you, but you will not be crushed, a corporate gladiator might vanquish you, but you will still triumph. How could any of them truly prevail in pulling you down? For you know that you are an object worthy of love. The rest is just packaging.

But if you don't have that memory of being loved, you are condemned to search the world for something to fill you up. But no matter how much money you make or how famous you become, you will still fell empty. What you are really searching for is unconditional love, unqualified acceptance. And that was the one thing that was denied to you at birth.

Friends, let me paint a picture for you. Here is a typical day in America - six youths under the age of 20 will commit suicide, 12 children under the age of 20 will die from firearms - remember this is a DAY, not a year - 399 kids will be arrested for drug abuse, 1,352 babies will be born to teen mothers. This is happening in one of the richest, most developed countries in the history of the world.

Yes, in my country there is an epidemic of violence that parallels no other industrialised nation. These are the ways young people in America express their hurt and their anger. But don't think that there is not the same pain and anguish among their counterparts in the United Kingdom. Studies in this country show that every single hour, three teenagers in the UK inflict harm upon themselves, often by cutting or burning their bodies or taking an overdose. This is how they have chosen to cope with the pain of neglect and emotional agony.

In Britain, as many as 20% of families will only sit down and have dinner together once a year. Once a year! And what about the time-honoured tradition of reading your kid a bedtime story? Research from the 1980s showed that children who are read to, had far greater literacy and significantly outperformed their peers at school. And yet, less than 33% of British children ages two to eight have a regular bedtime story read to them. You may not think much of that until you take into account that 75% of their parents DID have that bedtime story when they were that age.

Clearly, we do not have to ask ourselves where all of this pain, anger and violent behaviour comes from. It is self-evident that children are thundering against the neglect, quaking against the indifference and crying out just to be noticed. The various child protection agencies in the US say that millions of children are victims of maltreatment in the form of neglect, in the average year. Yes, neglect. In rich homes, privileged homes, wired to the hilt with every electronic gadget. Homes where parents come home, but they're not really home, because their heads are still at the office. And their kids? Well, their kids just make do with whatever emotional crumbs they get. And you don't get much from endless TV, computer games and videos.

These hard, cold numbers which for me, wrench the soul and shake the spirit, should indicate to you why I have devoted so much of my time and resources into making our new Heal the Kids initiative a colossal success.

Our goal is simple - to recreate the parent/child bond, renew its promise and light the way forward for all the beautiful children who are destined one day to walk this earth.

But since this is my first public lecture, and you have so warmly welcomed me into your hearts, I feel that I want to tell you more. We each have our own story, and in that sense statistics can become personal.

They say that parenting is like dancing. You take one step, your child takes another. I have discovered that getting parents to re-dedicate themselves to their children is only half the story. The other half is preparing the children to re-accept their parents.

When I was very young I remember that we had this crazy mutt of a dog named "Black Girl," a mix of wolf and retriever. Not only wasn't she much of a guard dog, she was such a scared and nervous thing that it is a wonder she did not pass out every time a truck rumbled by, or a thunderstorm swept through Indiana. My sister Janet and I gave that dog so much love, but we never really won back the sense of trust that had been stolen from her by her previous owner. We knew he used to beat her. We didn't know with what. But whatever it was, it was enough to suck the spirit right out of that dog.

A lot of kids today are hurt puppies who have weaned themselves off the need for love. They couldn't care less about their parents. Left to their own devices, they cherish their independence. They have moved on and have left their parents behind.

Then there are the far worse cases of children who harbour animosity and resentment toward their parents, so that any overture that their parents might undertake would be thrown forcefully back in their face.

Tonight, I don't want any of us to make this mistake. That's why I'm calling upon all the world's children - beginning with all of us here tonight - to forgive our parents, if we felt neglected. Forgive them and teach them how to love again.

You probably weren't surprised to hear that I did not have an idyllic childhood. The strain and tension that exists in my relationship with my own father is well documented. My father is a tough man and he pushed my brothers and me hard, from the earliest age, to be the best performers we could be.

He had great difficulty showing affection. He never really told me he loved me. And he never really complimented me either. If I did a great show, he would tell me it was a good show. And if I did an OK show, he told me it was a lousy show.

He seemed intent, above all else, on making us a commercial success. And at that he was more than adept. My father was a managerial genius and my brothers and I owe our professional success, in no small measure, to the forceful way that he pushed us. He trained me as a showman and under his guidance I couldn't miss a step.

But what I really wanted was a Dad. I wanted a father who showed me love. And my father never did that. He never said I love you while looking me straight in the eye, he never played a game with me. He never gave me a piggyback ride, he never threw a pillow at me, or a water balloon.

But I remember once when I was about four years old, there was a little carnival and he picked me up and put me on a pony. It was a tiny gesture, probably something he forgot five minutes later. But because of that moment I have this special place in my heart for him. Because that's how kids are, the little things mean so much to them and for me, that one moment meant everything. I only experienced it that one time, but it made me feel really good, about him and the world.

But now I am a father myself, and one day I was thinking about my own children, Prince and Paris and how I wanted them to think of me when they grow up. To be sure, I would like them to remember how I always wanted them with me wherever I went, how I always tried to put them before everything else. But there are also challenges in their lives. Because my kids are stalked by paparazzi, they can't always go to a park or a movie with me.

So what if they grow older and resent me, and how my choices impacted their youth? Why weren't we given an average childhood like all the other kids, they might ask? And at that moment I pray that my children will give me the benefit of the doubt. That they will say to themselves: "Our daddy did the best he could, given the unique circumstances that he faced. He may not have been perfect, but he was a warm and decent man, who tried to give us all the love in the world."

I hope that they will always focus on the positive things, on the sacrifices I willingly made for them, and not criticise the things they had to give up, or the errors I've made, and will certainly continue to make, in raising them. For we have all been someone's child, and we know that despite the very best of plans and efforts, mistakes will always occur. That's just being human.

And when I think about this, of how I hope that my children will not judge me unkindly, and will forgive my shortcomings, I am forced to think of my own father and despite my earlier denials, I am forced to admit that me must have loved me. He did love me, and I know that.

There were little things that showed it. When I was a kid I had a real sweet tooth - we all did. My favourite food was glazed doughnuts and my father knew that. So every few weeks I would come downstairs in the morning and there on the kitchen counter was a bag of glazed doughnuts - no note, no explanation - just the doughnuts. It was like Santa Claus.

Sometimes I would think about staying up late at night, so I could see him leave them there, but just like with Santa Claus, I didn't want to ruin the magic for fear that he would never do it again. My father had to leave them secretly at night, so as no one might catch him with his guard down. He was scared of human emotion, he didn't understand it or know how to deal with it. But he did know doughnuts.

And when I allow the floodgates to open up, there are other memories that come rushing back, memories of other tiny gestures, however imperfect, that showed that he did what he could. So tonight, rather than focusing on what my father didn't do, I want to focus on all the things he did do and on his own personal challenges. I want to stop judging him.

I have started reflecting on the fact that my father grew up in the South, in a very poor family. He came of age during the Depression and his own father, who struggled to feed his children, showed little affection towards his family and raised my father and his siblings with an iron fist. Who could have imagined what it was like to grow up a poor black man in the South, robbed of dignity, bereft of hope, struggling to become a man in a world that saw my father as subordinate. I was the first black artist to be played on MTV and I remember how big a deal it was even then. And that was in the 80s!

My father moved to Indiana and had a large family of his own, working long hours in the steel mills, work that kills the lungs and humbles the spirit, all to support his family. Is it any wonder that he found it difficult to expose his feelings? Is it any mystery that he hardened his heart, that he raised the emotional ramparts? And most of all, is it any wonder why he pushed his sons so hard to succeed as performers, so that they could be saved from what he knew to be a life of indignity and poverty?

I have begun to see that even my father's harshness was a kind of love, an imperfect love, to be sure, but love nonetheless. He pushed me because he loved me. Because he wanted no man ever to look down at his offspring.

And now with time, rather than bitterness, I feel blessing. In the place of anger, I have found absolution. And in the place of revenge I have found reconciliation. And my initial fury has slowly given way to forgiveness.

Almost a decade ago, I founded a charity called Heal the World. The title was something I felt inside me. Little did I know, as Shmuley later pointed out, that those two words form the cornerstone of Old Testament prophecy. Do I really believe that we can heal this world, that is riddled with war and genocide, even today? And do I really think that we can heal our children, the same children who can enter their schools with guns and hatred and shoot down their classmates, like they did at Columbine? Or children who can beat a defenceless toddler to death, like the tragic story of Jamie Bulger? Of course I do, or I wouldn't be here tonight.

But it all begins with forgiveness, because to heal the world, we first have to heal ourselves. And to heal the kids, we first have to heal the child within, each and every one of us. As an adult, and as a parent, I realise that I cannot be a whole human being, nor a parent capable of unconditional love, until I put to rest the ghosts of my own childhood.

And that's what I'm asking all of us to do tonight. Live up to the fifth of the Ten Commandments. Honour your parents by not judging them. Give them the benefit of the doubt.

That is why I want to forgive my father and to stop judging him. I want to forgive my father, because I want a father, and this is the only one that I've got. I want the weight of my past lifted from my shoulders and I want to be free to step into a new relationship with my father, for the rest of my life, unhindered by the goblins of the past.

In a world filled with hate, we must still dare to hope. In a world filled with anger, we must still dare to comfort. In a world filled with despair, we must still dare to dream. And in a world filled with distrust, we must still dare to believe.

To all of you tonight who feel let down by your parents, I ask you to let down your disappointment. To all of you tonight who feel cheated by your fathers or mothers, I ask you not to cheat yourself further. And to all of you who wish to push your parents away, I ask you to extend you hand to them instead. I am asking you, I am asking myself, to give our parents the gift of unconditional love, so that they too may learn how to love from us, their children. So that love will finally be restored to a desolate and lonely world.

Shmuley once mentioned to me an ancient Biblical prophecy which says that a new world and a new time would come, when "the hearts of the parents would be restored through the hearts of their children". My friends, we are that world, we are those children.

Mahatma Gandhi said: "The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong." Tonight, be strong. Beyond being strong, rise to the greatest challenge of all - to restore that broken covenant. We must all overcome whatever crippling effects our childhoods may have had on our lives and in the words of Jesse Jackson, forgive each other, redeem each other and move on.

This call for forgiveness may not result in Oprah moments the world over, with thousands of children making up with their parents, but it will at least be a start, and we'll all be so much happier as a result.

And so ladies and gentlemen, I conclude my remarks tonight with faith, joy and excitement.

From this day forward, may a new song be heard.

Let that new song be the sound of children laughing.

Let that new song be the sound of children playing.

Let that new song be the sound of children singing.

And let that new song be the sound of parents listening.

Together, let us create a symphony of hearts, marvelling at the miracle of our children and basking in the beauty of love.

Let us heal the world and blight its pain.

And may we all make beautiful music together.

God bless you, and I love you.

You Can listen to it below .

Heaven Can Wait from Invincible album

Do you know stars /angles / walking on Earth here with us to bring Heaven to Earth ?

I am writing from my own experience.

When it’s dark we can see the stars big and small bright and beautiful all over the Heavens.
The stars are made in the forth day means one day in The Most high is 1000 years so in the 4th thousand year.

Genesis 1

14And God said, let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: 15And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. 16And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. 17And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, 18And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. 19And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

The Sun, the Moon and all the stars we see are angles of the most high. They also have grades from the Highest to the lower. The Highest star is Christ him self. Those stars are  made of pure LOVE and LIGHT.  Some of them volunteer to come to earth  to bring  Love and Light to  planet earth. This is one of the secrets of nature most of Humans unaware of.   They are a people who are selfless and put some one else needs before their own.  they called soul mates and Twin Flame angles.

At the end time The Most High reviel this to His Creation.

 Daniel 12:3-4
3And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
4But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Soul mates are the type of angles who made with individual souls. When they decide to explore planet Earth for uncounted times /hundred thousands life times/. I don't mean every human being can re- incarnated over and over . Re- Incarnation dose not exist at all.But  the angles coming back to Earth for service as much as they needed.  soul mates /angles/  can find each other like family member’s friends even  husband and wives.  They get along with every body and they have a true nature of Love and kindness. Life is easier for them than the Twin-Flame angles. Because they are individual and they can be with one of their thousands soul mates.  When they are around each other they make a beautiful family and healthy relation- ship.

Twin-Flames are one individual soul split in half male and female. they made from pure light split into half.  They are one being separated to two bodies. Twin flame angles are very rare and few and have very difficult life than the soul mate angles. They have very painful experience to be separate from the other half of their soul. They are very kind people and very selfless .Even though they live in different continents they still have one mind and they communicate through telepathy and dream state.

The master of Twin flames is the male and he is aware of every thing in the past and always guides the female the weaker soul. The female doesn't know and confused until the master / male / reach out for her. she has a deep feeling and very confuse life most of her life time. The Twin Flames make a contract before they come to the Planet Earth. again the female don't remember until its time.  when its time and find each other they melt into each other and live happy life. Some of them very few you can count them with one hand decide not to come together until they finish their services. I call this Twins very carriages soul.Because they have very painful life than the other stars.  But most of them plan to come together as a family .  Twin Flames can have many soul mates but they can only be with their half soul. Because with out each other they are not whole. That is why when they come together  they cant separate from one anther,  they belong to each other they are one and the same . Twin-flame angles have same appearance like eyes , height, hair color,,and ethnicity /DNA/, they look alike  as they are physical family.

If Twin flames decide not to come together the master soul guide the living soul even after he left the planet earth . some of twins  very rare join the body of the living. When the twins joined in one’s body they have a never ending joy.  And this unity happened to a very rare and few only because that is what they plan.   Their union is so divine and connected to The Most High. When they are together they bring so much Love to the world.

So angles are all over the planet to help humanity to Love, and live in peace. Michael and his companion / unidentified/  is one of the one soul angles walking down the Earth many times to make the world a better place . To experience this is the most tough choice and  isn't easy . specially to separate from your half being to be a service to others  in the planet. That is what Michael done to just make this  world  better . You can listen to his music the answer is in there. We must learn to what he had to endure to just do his work perfectly he ridiculed by people of the world. Michael Jackson came with a large of soul group that is why we feel his pain we dream about him he is a master and guide his soul group even after life. we are all making sure his message reach to all .  we know why He was here and we are here and fight for him and other bright stars who lighted this world with Love.

Many more still walking in this planet and uniting with each other for the last time of service, because soon the Heavenly Kingdom will come and they don’t have to experience any more painful separation from their family of LOVE.   Christ will bring Heaven to Earth His kingdom is everlasting.  No more war, prejudice, racism.  Only pure LOVE.

So please pay attention and learn from those angles volunteering to let us have a better world and life.

Are You Listening?

Written by Michael Jackson

Who am I?
Who are you?
Where did we come from?
Where are we going?
What's it all about?
Do you have the answers?
Immortality's my game
From Bliss I came
In Bliss I am sustained
To Bliss I return
If you don't know it now
It's a shame
Are you listening?
This body of mine
Is a flux of energy
In the river of time
Eons pass, ages come and go
I appear and disappear
Playing hide-and-seek
In the twinkling of an eye
I am the particle
I am the wave
Whirling at lightning speed
That takes the lead
I am the Prince
I am the Knave
I am the doing
I am the fluctuation

That is the deed
I am the galaxy, the void of space
In the Milky Way
I am the craze
I am the thinker, the thinking, the thought
I am the seeker, the seeking, the sought
I am the dewdrop, the sunshine, the storm
I am the phenomenon, the field, the form
I am the desert, the ocean, the sky
I am the Primeval Self
In you and I
Pure unbounded consciousness
Truth, existence, Bliss am I
In infinite expressions I come and go
Playing hide-and-seek
In the twinkling of an eye
But immortality's my game
Eons pass
Deep inside
I remain
Ever the same
From Bliss I came
In Bliss I am sustained
Join me in my dance
Please join me now
If you forget yourself
You'll never know how
This game is played
In the ocean bed of Eternity
Stop this agony of wishing
Play it out
Don't think, don't hesitate
Curving back within yourself
Just create...just create
Immortality's my game
From Bliss I came
In Bliss I'm sustained
To Bliss I return
If you don't know it now
It's a shame
Are you listening?

You Are My Life from Invincible Album

Please Support The Invincible Campaign for 2011 .

You Are My Life

Once... all alone
I was lost in a world of strangers
No one to trust
On my own, I was lonely
You... suddenly appeared
It was cloudy before, but now it’s all clear
You took away the fear
And you brought me back to the light

You are the sun
You make me shine
Or more like the stars
That twinkle at night
You are the moon
That glows in my heart
You’re my daytime my nighttime
My world
You are my life

Now... I wake up everyday
With this smile upon my face
No more tears, no more pain
‘Cause you love me
You help me understand
That love is the answer to all that I am
And I... I’m a better man
Since you taught me by sharing your life

You gave me strength
When I wasn't strong
You gave me hope when all hope was lost
You opened my eyes when I couldn't see
Love was always here waiting for me

The Child is A Song Written by Michael Jackson

When children listen to music, they don't just listen. They melt into the melody and flow

with the rhythm. Something inside starts to unfold its wings - soon the child and the music are

one. I feel that way, too, in the presence of music, and my best moments of creativity have

often been spent with children. When I am around them, music comes to me as easily as

Each song is a child I nourish and give my love to. But even if you have never written a

song, your life is a song. How can it not be? In wave after wave, Nature caresses you - the

rhythm of each dawn and each sunset is part of you, the falling rain touches your soul, and you

see yourself in the clouds that are playing tag with the sun. To live is to be musical, starting with

the blood dancing in your veins. Everything living has a rhythm. To feel each one, softly and

attentively, brings out its music.

Do you feel your music?

Children do, but once we grow up, life becomes a burden and a chore, and the music

grows fainter. Sometimes the heart is so heavy that we turn away from it and forget that its

throbbing is the wisest message of life, a wordless message that says, "Live, be, move, rejoice --

you are alive!" Without the heart's wise rhythm, we could not exist.

When I begin to feel a little tired or burdened, children revive me. I turn to them for new

life, for new music. Two brown eyes look at me so deeply, so innocently, and inside I murmur,

"This child is a song." It is so true and direct an experience that instantly I realize again, "I am a

song also." I am back to myself once more.

The number 7 is used 507 times in the Bible.
Among the 365 different numbers found in the Bible, 7 are used only in the NT. They are the numbers 46, 84, 144, 276, 1260, 144000 and 200000000.
In the Gospel of saint John, the word week is used 7 times; there are 7 mentions of the Christ "I Am"; Here some explanations are necessary. 4 times in the Gospel of saint John we will read "I Am" (in Greek "ego eimi") pronounced by Jesus (Jn 8,24 and 8,28 and 8,58 and 13,19). By 3 other occasions, Jesus will say rather "It is Me", also translated in the Greek "ego eimi" (Jn 4,26 and 6,20 and 18,5-6). Those two mentions of the Christ are therefore equivalent: "I Am" = "It is Me". Also in the conversation of Vassula with Jesus, to verify the presence of This one, Vassula questions Him by saying "Jesus?", and Him to reply always by the affirmation "I Am" instead of "It is me", which is similar.
In the Gospel of saint John, by 7 times it is referred to the testimony of John the Baptist. The Gospel of saint John brings back also seven miracles of Jesus. The eighth, the miraculous fishing of chapter 21, has been added to the first writing. This same Gospel enumerates 7 appearances of Jesus Christ with his apostles and disciples after his resurrection. The word dreams is used 7 times in the NT. The name of Solomon is used 7 times in the Song of Songs book (Sagas well as the words "Girls of Jerusalem", Lebanon and love.
There are seven beatitudes that are proclaimed in the Revelation: 1,3; 14,13; 16,15; 19,9; 20,6; 22,7; 22,14;
The seven requests in the prayer of the Our-Father.
The seven words of Jesus pronounced on the cross:
My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? (Mt 27,46)
In truth I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise - to the good thief (Lk 23,43)
Father, into your hands I commit my spirit. (Lk 23,46)
Father, forgive them; they do not know what they are doing. (Lk 23,34)
Woman, this is your son, (to John): This is your mother. (Jn 19,26)
I am thirsty. (Jn 19,28)
It is fulfilled. (Jn 19,30)
The hunted demon brings back with him seven others more stronger than him.
The seven deacons of the primitive Church: Stephen, Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas and Nicolaus. (Act 6,5)
The number seven is often used in the Revelation: the seven golden lamp-stands (Rv 1,12-20), the mystery of the seven stars (Rv 1,16-20), the seven seals (Rv 7 and , the seven letters addressed to the seven churches (Rv 2 and 3), the seven trumpets (Rv 8,6 and 11,15), the seven thunders (Rv 10,3-4), the seven kings (Rv 17,9), the seven heads of the Beast (Rv 13,1), the seven plagues of the seven bowls (Rv 15,5), etc. "Bush of thorn", during one of her visions, has understood that the seven lamps and the standard lamps mentioned in the Revelation, represented the seven principal Churches or Beliefs, that is to say: Roman Catholic, Orthodox, Muslim, Anglican, Protestant, etc.
The seven donations of the spirit of Yahweh: Wisdom, Insight, Counsel, Power, Knowledge, Piety, Fear of God. (Is 11,2-3)
The light of the seven days. (Is 30,26)
Ecclesiastics, chapter 17 verse 5, enumerates 7 senses in the human being that are, in addition to the five known senses, the intelligence and the word (Si 17,5). This verse does not appear in the Bible of Jerusalem. We find it however in some Greek manuscripts.
In Mt 25,35-36, Jesus enumerates six charitable actions that will be considered in the last Judgement for man salvation: to visit invalids, to quench the thirsty, to feed the hungry, to repurchase the captives or to visit prisoners, to dress those who are naked and to welcome foreigners. But to the 13th century, someone discovers in documents of Lactates a seventh act of mercy: to bury the deeds. This one was ratified in 1220 by the canonical collection of Raymond of Pena-fort.
The gift of the stupid will bring you no advantage, his eyes look for seven times as mush in return. (Si 20,14)

Invincible album Break Of Dawn

Invincible is the most wonderful and  Romantic Album Michael ever did.
Please buy the album and enjoy  each meaning full songs . From The King Of Pop MJJ.

Shout by Michael Jackson

Ignorance of people purchasing diamonds and necklaces,
And barely able to keep the payments up on their lessons,
And enrolled in a class and don't know who the professor is,
How low people go for the dough and make a mess of things,
Kids are murdering other kids for the fun of it,
Instead of using their mind or their fist, they put a gun in it
Wanna be a part of a clique, don't know who's running it,
Tragedy on top of tragedy you know it's killing me.
So many people in agony, this shouldn't have to be,
Too busy focusing on ourselves and not His Majesty,
There has to be some type of change for this day and age,
We gotta rearrange and flip the page,
Living encaged like animals and cannibals,
Eating each other alive just to survive the nine to five,
Every single day is trouble while we struggle and strive
Peace of mind's so hard to find.

I wanna shout, throw my hands up and shout
What's this madness all about
All this makes me wanna shout
You know it makes me wanna shout,
Throw my hands up and shout
What's this madness all about
All this makes me wanna shout, c'mon now

Verse 2
Problems, complications and accusations
Dividing the nations and races of empty faces
A war is taking place.
No substitution for restitution, the only solution for peace
Is increasing the height of your spirituality.
Masses of minds are shrouded, clouded visions
Deceptions and indecision, no faith or religion, how we're living.
The clock is ticking, the end is coming, there'll be no warning,
But we live to see the dawn.

How can we preach, when all we make this world to be
Is a living hell torturing our minds.
We all must unite, to turn darkness to light,
And the love in our hearts will shine.

Verse 3
We're disconnected from love, we're disrespecting each other
Whatever happened to protecting each other
Poisoned your body and your soul for a minute of pleasure,
But the damage that you've done is gonna last forever.
Babies being born in the world already drug addicted and afflicted,
Family values are contradicted.
Ashes to ashes and dust to dust, the pressure is building and I've had enough.

Michael released Dangerous on November 26,1991.
It is one of the most successful New Jack Swing albums of all time! It was a highly anticipated release and made a strong debut. It became his 2nd album to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 album chart, where it spent the next 4 consecutive weeks.
Dangerous debuts on the Pop albums chart at No. 1 holding its position for 6 weeks. The album debuts at No. 11 on the Black albums chart, reaching No.
1 in its fourth week and holding its position for 12 weeks. It debuts at No. 1 in
several countries around the world: USA, Britain, Australia, Spain, Switzerland, Finland and France.
The album features the music industry’s hottest producers and technical innovators: Teddy Riley, Bill Bottrell, Bryan Loren and Bruce Swedien.
The Music is a beautiful mix of inspirational ballads and blocky, hard-edged grooves influenced by hip-hop.
Michael’s Video and Short Film mastery impacted music and pop culture, and influenced the world! He set the Standard for concepts, dance routines, storylines, innovative special effects and cameo appearances! Pushing the boundaries of the medium, presenting the latest in video technology special effects and reaching even higher levels of achievement in choreography!
He often used his short films to make political statements and advocate for the many causes that he supported.
Dangerous is the fastest selling Number One album of all-time and makes history by entering the charts at No. 1 just 3 shopping days after its release. Sony estimates it sold more than 200,000 copies in hectic trading.
Michael said he had a particular vision for the follow-up to BAD. “I wanted to do an album that was like Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, so that in a thousand years from now, people would still be listening to it. Something that would live forever. I would like to see children and teenagers and parents and all races all over the world, hundreds and hundreds of years from now, still pulling out songs from that album and dissecting it. I want it to live”.
The album certainly had a significant lifespan in terms of singles success, yielding 8 singles that reached the top
30 in
the Billboard chart.
The 1st single, Black Or White, was the album’s biggest hit, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and remaining there for 7 weeks, with similar chart rankings worldwide.
The album’s 2nd single, Remember The Time, spent 8 weeks in Billboards top 5. The album had a 4 week run at the top of the American chart in December 1991, and was the top-selling long-player of 1992.
As of 2008, Dangerous has shipped 7 million copies in the US and has sold 32 million copies worldwide. It is the most successful New Jack Swing album of all time!

On February 1992, it was announced that Pepsi would once again sponsor Michael when he took to the road with 20 million to cover the forthcoming Dangerous Tour.
The Dangerous World Tour, his second Solo Tour, began on June 27, 1992, and finished on November 11, 1993.
Prior to the Tour, Michael announced all profits would be donated to various charities, most notably his own Heal The World Foundation, named after one of his favorite hit singles from the new album, the inspirational Heal The World.
Michael created the Heal the World Foundation in 1992, to improve the conditions for children throughout the world. The organization brought underprivileged children to his Neverland Ranch to spend a day to play on the park rides, watch movies in the theater, enjoy all the animals in the petting zoo, ride the train, and have the choice of any candy or sweet treat you can imagine and popcorn too….a grand time! Michael went to great lengths to ensure the best care and safety of all the children while they were there. All the rides and everything there was wheelchair accessible. Everything was modified for physically challenged children. In the theater, there were specially designed rooms with glass walls furnished with hospital beds set up so that the critically ill children could lay in bed and watch the movies.
Michael always had such a profound commitment to children!

“Our children are the most beautiful, most sweet, most treasured of our creations. And yet, every minute at least 28 children die. Today our children are at risk of being killed by diseases and by the violence of war, guns, abuse and neglect. Children have few rights and no-one to speak for them. They have no voice in our world. God and nature has blessed me with a voice. Now I want to use it to help children speak for themselves. I have founded the Heal The World Foundation to be the voice of the voiceless: The Children.”
~••~ Michael Jackson June 23, 1992 ~••~
Heal the World Foundation has 3 Main Goals:
1. To make the safety, health and development of children the world’s highest priority.
2. To be the voice of the voiceless by focusing world-wide attention on the needs and rights of all children and by providing children with a forum to express their unique vision for healing the world.
3. To help create a world where children will live without violence, where children will be free of disease and have healthy lives, and where each generation will have the opportunity to grow into fully participating members of the world community.
The Foundation also sent millions of dollars to help children threatened by war and disease all over the world — such as airlifting 43 tons of medical supplies, blankets, winter clothing and shoes onto a DC-8 cargo jet bound for the children of Sarajevo in Bosnia-Herzegovina, a war zone in the former Yugoslavia. Also initiating drug and alcohol abuse education, and donating millions of dollars to programs and other charities for the care of suffering children. In one instance, Michael directed full payment for a Hungarian child’s (Bela Farkas) liver transplant.

On September 30, 1992 an estimated 6,000 people pour into the streets to witness the Michael Jackson procession make it’s way to the Leaganul Pentru Copii Sfinta Ecaterina orphanage to formally open a playground for 500 orphans, funded by Michael. President Iliescu and the world’s press are there.
Outside, Michael is mobbed by children, on his way to the newly — restored Casino theater for a rare press conference to officially launch Heal the World Foundation in the presence of the Prime Minister.

On October 1, 1992 Michael performs at the Complexul Sportiv National Stadium in Bucharest, Romania before a capacity crowd of 70,000 — with an additional 20,000 police and troops in attendance!
Tickets sell for half the usual price, but this is still more than a third of the average monthly salary in Romania.
The country has never seen anything like it and many of the older members of the audience — used to more placid entertainment — are bewildered. It was a unique moment for Romania emerging from the darkness of communism, a concert in which many did not even dare to dream….for some the dream was fulfilled.
The concert, Michael’s only show in a former Iron Curtain country, is attended by the Prime Minister (who presents Michael with a ceremonial uniform) and other political figures.
One senate spokesman says, “This event is worth 10 years of diplomacy with the West. At last the West will recognize us as a proper European country and not a strange name in an atlas”.
Andy Morahan, who directed Give In To Me, uses more than 14 camera operators to tape the concert, which is broadcast live on radio and TV to 61 countries around the world, including
21 in
Michael chose this particular concert to be televised because the whole point of his Dangerous Tour was to raise funds and awareness for his Heal The World Foundation.
Bucharest, with its notorious orphanages, was the ideal spring-board to officially propel the Heal The World Foundation, and to point out the predicament of the Romanian babies.
Michael decided to stay in the beautiful Ceausescu’s Palace at Snagov located on Lake Snagov
40 kilometers from Bucharest. It was built in the ’30’s by Prince Nicholas, the younger brother of Charles II and greatly expanded in the ’80’s by the Ceausescu family.

(Special thankx to my dear friend Pieta for sharing the photos link)
For the Dangerous Tour the visual effects were as impressive as the Music. The Tour kicks off at the Olympic Stadium in Munich, Germany.
Michael plays to a sell-out crowd of 72,000 ecstatic fans, who see him perform 18 numbers, including 4 songs from his new album. Michael made a spectacular entry, catapulted onto the empty stage in a move dubbed the ‘toaster’ accompanied by pyrotechnics. Thousands of fans went wild chanting his name as he popped up out of the swirling smoke, seemingly from nowhere. There he stood, for what seemed like forever, in all his stylistic divine glory: Aviator shades, military jacket, high-water pants, white socks, black loafers, a black arm band and one white arm guard.
The exit topped that, Michael zooming out of the auditorium by jet pack. Or, at least, that was how it appeared. In fact, it was an illusion devised by the celebrated Magician David Copperfield. The close of the show hit’s the headlines.
On stage, during the Dangerous Tour, a highlight — for one lucky lady — was Michael’s rendition of She’s Out Of My Life. A girl would be plucked from the audience to share the stage with Michael during the performance of this moving ballad that has been a set-list favorite for over a decade.
Dancing close to Michael while being serenaded was often too much for the chosen few. They wanted to hold him as tightly as possible, and he had to be very handy with the microphone in order to deliver the vocals. No doubt the girls pinched themselves when they retook their seats, and no doubt their friends couldn’t wait to touch the hand of someone who had touched Michael!

“My main love for what I do is the Fans. I love the Fans. When I’m doing a show and I see the Fans out there dancing and screaming, excited…that’s what I love most”.
~••~ Michael Jackson ~••~
Concerts on the Tour enjoyed by around 3.5 million fans!!
In a moment of pure business genius, Michael sold the broadcast film rights of his Bucharest concert, Michael’s first behind the Iron Curtain, to the American Cable Station, HBO (Home Box Office) for around $20 million — the most ever paid for a Pop concert, making it the largest contract ever for a one-time concert transmitted on TV.
The concert first screened in the States on October 10, 1992. The special receives the highest TV ratings in the history of HBO — also screened in at least 61 other countries.
Released on DVD, as part of The Ultimate Collection Box-set, in 2004, and as a stand alone DVD titled Live In Bucharest: the Dangerous Tour, the following year — however, as well as Bucharest, the DVD also featured footage shot at concerts in London and Madrid.
One of Michael’s most acclaimed performances came on January 31, 1993, during the halftime show at the 27th Super Bowl at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, CA.
In previous years, the halftime show had several performers. But 1993 would be different — for the first time in its history, a solo performance!
Michael carried the entire halftime show in one of the most prestigious slots in show business, with an electrifying performance rocking the Pasadena Rose Bowl to the rafters! It was broadcast to 1 billion viewers in 70 countries!!
The program drew the largest viewing audience in the history of American television!!! Michael donated his fee to his Heal The World Foundation.

Before an audience of 100,000, Michael was tossed onto the stage as fireworks exploded behind him. As he landed on the canvas, he maintained a motionless “clenched fist, standing statue stance” — one of his Dangerous poses. He remained completely still for several minutes while the crowd cheered, then slowly removed his sunglasses, threw them away and began to perform.
Michael performs a medley of Jam, Billie Jean, Black Or White and Heal The World.
The finale, Heal The World, included 3,500 local children singing and a video montage of Michael’s global humanitarian efforts.
It was the first Super Bowl in history where the audience figures increased during the half-time show, and was viewed by 135 million Americans, and as many as a billion people worldwide!!
In the 2 weeks following the Super Bowl performance, Michael‘s album Dangerous, moves up the Pop albums chart an amazing 106 places to No. 41. The sales momentum continues as the album rises another 31 places to No. 10 on the Pop albums chart, more than a year after its release.

Consciousness expresses itself through creation.
This world we live in is the dance of the creator.
Dancers come and go in the twinkling of an eye but the dance lives on.
On many an occasion when I’m dancing, I’ve felt touched by something sacred.
In those moments, I’ve felt my spirit soar and become one with everything that exists.
I become the stars and the moon. I become the lover and the beloved.
I become the victor and the vanquished. I become the master and the slave.
I become the singer and the song. I become the knower and the known.
I keep on dancing and then, it is the eternal dance of creation.
The creator and creation merge into one wholeness of joy.
I keep on dancing and dancing…and dancing, until there is only…the Dance.

‘Michael was growing, and wanted to experiment free of restrictions of the Westlake scene,’ said Bill Bottrell. ‘That’s why he got me and John Barnes to work at his home studio for, like, a year and a half. On and off. We would program, twiddle, and build the tracks for much of that album, send the results on two inch down to Westlake, and they would, at their discretion, re-record, and add things like strings and brass. This is how Michael started to express his creative independence, like a teenager leaving the nest. I eventually got fired from BAD and Frank DiLeo took me to lunch and said, “Don’t worry, next album you will be a producer”, and everybody kept their word.’
‘I got the call to produce some tracks on Michael Jackson’s Dangerous around
said Teddy Riley, who admitted he felt pressure. ‘I didn’t want to be the one to fail Michael, and I’m so grateful it didn’t…I brought R&B back to Michael in its barest form; R&B and funk. We recorded it in California, at Record One, and then we ended up in Larrabee Studios. I was using a lot of vintage stuff to get the sound we needed. Reeds and SSL Xls were mainly the boards we used — I always loved vintage better than digital. It’s way better, much warmer.’
Album headed in a very different direction, prior to Riley’s involvement. ‘Dangerous had already been recorded by Bill Bottrell, but the music didn’t move Michael,’ said Riley, ‘I told Michael: I like Billy. I like his producing, and everything about him. But this is your album, Michael. If this is the right tune, I can utilize what you have in your singing. He said, “Try it. I guess we gotta use what we love.” And we did. I’m quite sure that if anyone else had come up with a better Dangerous, he would have used that — so it’s not actually about me or Billy, it’s about the music. I always say the music is the star.’
‘He was an inspiration to work with,’ said Riley.’ I kinda learned his way of working and stuck with that formula — so he changed the way I worked on production with artists…it’s difficult to pick out the strongest elements on the album. Is it my music or his lyrics? In the end, I’d say it’s both. There was nothing weaker than the other. That’s why it was such a perfect album and such a big seller.’

The Dangerous sleeve — which took 6 months to complete, is the creation of Mark Ryden who worked closely with both Michael and Sony Music Senior Art Director, Nancy Donald, to develop the very symbolic, acrylic glaze painting.
The cover is a beautiful dreamlike, mysterious illustration of Michael’s Eyes hidden behind a huge theatrical mask. Those warm brown peering eyes are surrounded by a variety of curious objects and hidden details.
Michael wanted the cover to be mysterious and for people to interpret the images for themselves.

The following little story perfectly illustrates what I mean when I say, “I’ll do anything in the music recording studio they’ll let me do!” My studio pal Rene Moore and I composed and recorded a piece of music for Rene’s album on Motown Records. Rene and I have composed the music for and produced several projects together.
We had been experimenting with the ‘looping’ of old, but extremely high-energy drum and rhythm tracks. Now, that is a great idea, but many recording people have been doing exactly that for quite some time. However, our idea was to take the fantastic feel of these vintage drum performances, and then layer them with new, very contemporary sounds on parallel tracks to bring the sonic value of the groove up to date.
We worked on one of these ideas for some time too on a song to use on Rene’s own album on Motown Records. I even used some sleigh bells from my grandfather’s farm in Minnesota, as a rhythm element!
The song was really beginning to shape up, and one afternoon we both looked at each other and Rene said, “Maybe we had better play this for Michael!” We did, and Michael absolutely loved the concept!
That was how “Jam” from the Michael Jackson album Dangerous came to life. “Jam” was composed by Rene Moore, Bruce Swedien, Michael Jackson, and Teddy Riley.
